Trachoma
SYMPTOMS may include reddened eyes, ulceration of the cornea, eyelids swell
and stick together (they may become pocked or scarred) and loss of vision.
CAUSES are from an organism called Chlamydia Trechomatis that is transmitted
by direct contact or by handling contaminated articles.
TREATMENT. Antibiotic eye ointment may be prescribed.
